Day 05. This Is The Moment I Learned To...

Finding joy in the present while anticipating the future

Concepts:

  1. Knowing that we are exactly where we are supposed to be allows us to create the space to create intentionally, to look forward with space and the calm of knowing it's going to happen instead of the blinkers on view of just NOT wanting to be where you are, which usually means we create more of the same.

  2. Letting ourselves visualise having everything that we want is also A SKILL. So notice where you are today with what you can imagine so you can compare next week and keep comparing!


Action Step:

  1. Notice the what you're struggling with/feeling resistance to in your life and set a timer to get it all out, write it all down, let yourself name the emotions you feel right now about each of these things.

  2. Now ask yourself what these emotions are telling you, if possible notice the language and see if you can trace it back to a moment in the past and if not, that's ok, we're just making space to listen.

  3. Then ask yourself - who would you be without those emotions?

  4. How would it feel to be that person? What choices do you they make, how do they approach challenges?
